I then compiled and generated the new RPMs and installed them on the Primary (master) system and on one slave Node. So I downloaded the latest stable version of Condor (7.4.4) and adapted the Fedora 14 Condor 7.4.2 SPEC file to work with this version. which as I discovered, still contains the issue.

Unfortunately for me, the version of Condor currently available in the Fedora 14 repository happens to be right in the middle (v 7.4.2). It turns out it was a bug (or a change / improvement) which was first noticed in Condor 7.4.1 and was later corrected (further changed / improved) in Condor 7.4.4.

What do I put there? Where do I put the PL tone for the TX channel and the PL tone for the RX channel?ĭo I have to put anything in the DTCS Code, DTCS RX, or DTCS Pol columns? In Chirp there is the tone mode, tone, and tone squelch columns. But what is the TPL and how do I program that into Chirp? I know that 2Z and 5Z are the PL tones for Motorola radios. They are UHF channels and are already programed into our Motorola radio, but we are trying cheaper radios for our business. We have a 2 different PL tones for the tx and rx frequencies.

I know how to program that into Chirp, but I am having trouble with the PL tones. The specific channel I want to program has one frequency for tx and one frequency for rx.

Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.
